Stand K19, Hall 4, CEDIA UK Expo 2005

Redline, established in Edinburgh in early 2000, provide exclusive UK distribution for Velodyne Subwoofers, Moon Electronics and Artison Loudspeakers. Velodyne Acoustics are the world's largest specialist subwoofer manufacturer Ð Moon Electronics a manufacturer of audiophile electronics from Canada and Artison, producers of a unique range of home cinema stand alone and plasma display mounted speaker arrays.

Velodyne

Established in California in 1983, Velodyne Acoustics have pioneered low distortion subwoofers, developing high gain servo assisted drive unit technology and real world room equalisation systems.

At Cedia this year, Velodyne will be launching the new range of SPL-R subwoofers, a reworking of the hugely successful Small Plays Loud range of active subs. For the first time these subwoofers will incorporate full remote control as well as a range of DSP modes to compliment particular material whether it be music or film.

Once again Velodyne will also have on show the outrageous 1812 subwoofer, at only £10995 in black the Digital Drive 1812 Signature is universally acclaimed as the world's ultimate subwoofer and recent winner of a Home Cinema Choice Special Award.

Artison

Artison Loudspeakers offer a unique range of high performance speaker solutions for the custom installation environment. With the two left and right speakers actually containing all of the drivers necessary for a three speaker left, centre and right array, the "portrait" and "sketch" speakers can be directly mounted to the plasma itself, with grill kits available for most plasmas. Retail prices range from £699 - £1399.

On show for the first time will be the "tower" versions of both the portrait and the sketch speaker arrays available in charcoal and silver. Ideal for those installations where locating a discrete centre channel can be problematic.
