Datacolor, the world's leading supplier of colour management technologies, will be attending the CEDIA UK EXPO in Birmingham. From June 28th to June 30th, the company can be found at Stand F 28 in the lobby of Hall 3, where it will be presenting ColorFACTS and SpyderTV - the new calibration solutions for the home cinema sector. The high-end tool Datacolor ColorFACTS analyses and optimises the colour reproduction of video projectors and beamers. The internationally renowned Image Science Foundation (ISF) has certified the system as the calibration standard for improving electronic image processing. With Datacolor SpyderTV, the colour management experts are offering an entry-level solution to those seeking to improve their home theatre viewing experience. SpyderTV scientifically measures contrast, brightness, color, tint, and color temperature presets and helps users make the necessary adjustments to dramatically improve picture quality. SpyderTV supports Plasma, RPTV, DLP, LCD and CRT televisions.

As well as the Datacolor experts, an ISF specialist will be attending the trade fair and will be happy to answer questions from interested visitors.

The tool is currently being localised for the German market; this version is due to be launched at the IFA Berlin (September 2005).

Depending on requirements, the prices of the three versions vary between EUR 2,400 and EUR 3,800. Further information on the specific ColorFACTS Professional I, II and III products is available from essential media or on the Internet. A demo version can be downloaded.
