Crestron Launches Crestron Wire Brand of Cabling (13/6/2005)

Crestron, the world leader in control and automation solutions, has engineered a new line of company-branded cabling called Crestron Wire. These new cabling products will help reduce design and installation time whilst also providing more connectivity options for dealers.

Crestron has launched Crestron Wire as part of its mission to deliver consistent signal integrity and reliability while reducing installation cost and complexity for every commercial or residential application. The addition of wire to the company's extensive product lineup offers its dealers increased options when weaving Crestron's Total Home Technology solutions together. Adding connectivity options for integrating the MediaManager family of products also and provides a ready-made pathway for Crestron's exclusive QuickMedia transport system.

Crestron Wire options include:

* Cresnet control wire is available in both PVC and plenum, with a selection of spool sizes and convenient pull boxes.
* CresCAT structured wire is available in all of the familiar configurations to support versatile multi-room AV distribution using our CAT5 balanced AV distribution switchers, processors, and room solution boxes.
* CresCAT-QM QuickMedia wire, available in PVC and plenum, provides the PROAV industry's simplest and most cost-effective wiring solution for multimedia signal distribution and control using our groundbreaking MediaManager family of products featuring the QuickMedia signal transport.
