A+K and BOSS UK secure a future (10/6/2005)

A+K has recently added BOSS UK ( British Office Security Systems ) to its list of superior products and services. This is the first security product to be distributed by A+K following a dramatic change in market trends leading to an increased demand to secure valuable AV equipment. The demand from end-users including educational establishments, largely stemming from insurance requirements, has led A+K to establish a new partnership with this UK leader in security products.

BOSS UK provides innovative, unique and versatile products for projectors, plasmas and interactive boards thus ensuring that its security solutions are suitable for home, business and school environments. The SECURE-AV range from BOSS offers numerous different devices to provide different levels of security, optionally combined with the widely acclaimed AV-VIPER motion sensor alarm which has been extensively utilised across Europe for several years.

The AV-VIPER, with its microchip intelligence, is powered by a 9v Alkaline battery and has an operational life of up to 4 years. This dual sensing 120dB alarm system is easy to fit, has a rugged steel enclosure, is active 24 hours a day and can be connected into a building ' s intruder alarm system.

Along with the AV-VIPER comes other universal security solutions forming the SECURE-AV range including Cable and Clamp Kits for projectors along with a plasma Cable Kit. Each kit contains all equipment needed to effectively secure valuable AV equipment. Whatever the AV/Home Cinema or educational security requirement or budget A+K and BOSS have a solution.
