Invision UK Announce Distribution Agreement with
BeldenCDT (3/6/2005)
Stand E14/E50, Hall 3, CEDIA UK Expo 2005
Invision UK is pleased to announce that they
have been appointed as UK distributor for the BeldenCDT HomeChoice(tm)
range.
Global cable manufacturer BeldenCDT launched
HomeChoice in the UK following the massive success of these products
in the USA. HomeChoice products are unrivalled in the market for
their quality and performance delivery and this agreement with Invision
means that BeldenCDT now have a dedicated distributor to support
their sales growth in the residential market.
"The success of the HomeChoice portfolio
in the US encouraged us to launch these products in the UK, already
there has been significant interest which we feel is set to grow
as the demand for 'intelligent homes' increases", commented Hans
Werner Eich, Marketing Manager, HomeChoice.
The HomeChoice range of products brings to
the home future-proof capabilities for every application, supporting
home office (networking), home cinema, security, lighting, security
alarm (CCTV), and smart appliances all through a 'single-pull' cable!
The use of a single cable throughout the home provides an easy to
install, and cost effective solution for homebuilders and installers
to meet the technological demands of modern homebuyers.
The needs of installation companies and homeowners
could not be more different, the homeowner demands high performance
across a wide range of modern services, whilst the installers seek
ease of installation and cost effectiveness, both however, view
reliability as crucial.
Installation of HomeChoice cables today means
that properties will be 'future-proof' - ready for the next generation
of home entertainment and connectivity, making the property more
attractive to the home buyer.
BeldenCDT test all of their products to ensure
that no loss of performance is experienced through installation.
No other cable on the market comes with this Installable Performance
guarantee.
After the rigours of installation, Belden
know their cable will still perform beyond the requirements of today's
intelligent home. During tests all cables within the market performed
to a similar standard on the reel, but when the cable experiences
the stress of installation only Belden cable maintained the same
level of performance. Some cables failed to meet Cat5e cable requirements,
a shocking result for those installing future-proof cables.
"BeldenCDT Bonded-Pair cables provide CAT
5e verified performance as part of the HomeChoice composite cable"
enthused Eich, " As member of CEDIA, we are serious about educating
the market about the pitfalls of using sub-standard products and
the huge loss of performance experienced once installed."
BeldenCDT and Invision UK will showcase the
complete range of HomeChoice cables on Stand E14/E50 in Hall 3,
CEDIA EXPO 2005 at the ICC, Birmingham, 28th - 30th June 2005.
