ReQuest Multimedia adds Pro 400 Model to Fusion line
of Digital Music Servers and announces Multi-Room integration with
NetStreams DigiLinX (1/6/2005)
Stand E50, Hall 3, CEDIA UK Expo 2005
Store up to 700 Albums in full fidelity,
WAV format and play up to 6 uncompressed audio streams simultaneously
from a single AudioReQuest server
ReQuest Multimedia, the industry leader in
hard drive-based digital music servers, is taking AudioReQuest to
the next level with UK launch of the Fusion Pro 400 model.
The Fusion F400P allows music lovers to store,
organise and access their music by song title, artist, album, genre
and personal play lists. Advanced networking features make AudioReQuest
a superior choice for multi-room, multi-source and multi-location
AV systems and seamless integration with Apple's iPod(tm) / iTunes(tm)
makes portable and web-accessed music an integral part of this high
performance music server.
Pre-engineered interface modules are available
for most leading third-party control systems, including AMX(tm),
Crestron(tm), Vantage(tm) and Xantech(tm).
ReQuest's exclusive UK distributor, Invision,
will be unveiling this latest addition to its growing family of
servers at the forthcoming CEDIA EXPO at the ICC in Birmingham,
28-30th June 2005.
"AudioReQuest Fusion is our best selling
music server," said Steve Beahan of Invision UK. "The new Pro 400
model is perfect for the client who wants CD quality, but who has
a large music collection - it's a proven solution for uncompromised
sonic performance."
ReQuest has also confirmed that the Fusion
Pro 400 is supplied with new firmware which allows for up to 6 simultaneous
streams of uncompressed audio over the innovative NetStreams' DigiLinX
IP-based distributed audio system. This integration makes AudioReQuest
a compelling source on the DigiLinX home network and the result
is a perfect fusion of two remarkable products, with added audio
and control features, increased system efficiency, and greater ease
of installation
Herman Cardenas, founder and chief executive
officer of NetStreams, is excited about this new partnership and
what it represents to the company. "As audio and video distribution
in the home is becoming increasingly IP-based, there is a growing
need for manufacturers to develop products that will serve our consumers'
new lifestyle." He further added: "The DigiLinX and AudioReQuest
integration is a natural fit."
Steve Vasquez, co-founder of ReQuest Multimedia,
joined Cardenas' enthusiasm. "NetStreams has established itself
as a leader in networked audio distribution for its innovation and
cutting edge technology. We at ReQuest are glad to join forces with
a quality team in providing the best products possible for our installers
and homeowners."
