Projectiondesign Action! series are put through
their paces at CEDIA Expo 2005 (31/5/2005)
Stand B56, Hall 3, CEDIA UK Expo 2005
The projectiondesign Action! series of high
performance DLP home cinema projectors will all be on show on RGB
SmartHome's stand at Cedia Expo in June. The award winning Action!
model one mk II and model one mk III, as well as the brand new twin
lamp Action! model three will all be put through their paces.
The Action! model one series is a remarkably
flexible family of dedicated high performance single chip DLP' projectors
that pack a tremendous punch for what is a remarkably small, unobtrusive
package that fits stylishly into any home cinema setting. The very
low operating sound levels - 28 dB(A) - and wide range of colour
options further enhance the appeal of the Action! Standard colour
options include Maranello Blue, Pearl White and Satin Gold, whilst
special custom colours Rosso Corsa, Diablo Yellow and Gloss Black
are also available.
The Action! model one mk III, the third edition
of this award-winning series of projectors was the first projector
in its class to ship with Texas Instruments' HD2+ DC3(TM) DLP(TM) technology.
The combination of the new DarkChip technology and the Action's
7-segment colour wheel ensures dramatically improved image quality.
These enhancements to what was already a
great projector (the Action! model one mk II) address and improve
upon the most common concerns of the discerning viewer. With greater
colour fidelity, a more correct black colour point, increased contrast
(4000:1 compared with 3000:1 of the mkII) and colour resolution,
image detail is improved and the naturalness of the image improved
even further.
All Action! home cinema projectors are HD
compatible with a DVI-D input and can easily be integrated within
home automation installations with their extensive control options,
including RS232 control interface, 12V triggers and discrete IR
remote control.
"A major benefit from the users' perspective
is that their investment is protected and future-proofed" commented
RGB SmartHome General Manager Andy Atwell. "To upgrade the
model one mk II to the mk III involves a relatively simple and cost
effective firmware and hardware upgrade that we perform at our workshops
in Hungerford. It is much cheaper than having to buy a brand new
projector, as is often the case with other brands if the user wants
to enjoy the benefits of the latest advances in technology".
Similar upgrades are available for the original Action model one
and model zero five.
On show for the very first time at any UK
based trade show will be the stunning Action! model three single
chip dual lamp high performance projector. The unique combination
of Texas Instruments HD2+ Mustang DMD' chip with projectiondesign's
proprietary DuArch' illumination architecture - implementing two
completely individual lamps, dual 7-segment colour wheels and dual
light optimisation and recovery - results in unprecedented performance
levels for a single chip system. Contrast levels up to 7500:1 and
adjustable brightness levels from 800 to 2500 ANSI lumens ensure
that the model three can cater for any screen size one could possibly
want in any serious home cinema application.
