Yamaha YSP-1 Digital Sound Projector makes Debut at CEDIA UK Expo (27/5/2005)

The YAMAHA YSP-1 'Digital Sound Projector' will makes it debut at the CEDIA UK Expo on AWE's stand.

The YSP1 'Digital Sound Projector' allows you to enjoy true 5.1 channel surround sound from a single component. Since it's high profile launch in January the revolutionary Yamaha YSP 1 Digital Sound Projector has taken the industry by storm , picking up a clutch of awards including a Gold Award from T3 and this month it was voted 'Innovation of the Year' in the 10th annual Home Cinema Choice awards. These awards build on a 'best of show' at this years CES event in the USA.

These coveted accolades confirm the extraordinary capabilities of this product The unique YAMAHA YSP 1 Digital Sound Projector re-defines your options for home theatre surround sound, the entire system is housed within a single unit containing no less than 42 digital amplifiers driving 40 4cm full range drivers and two (11cm) woofers delivering a massive 120 watts with dynamic bass response.

The YSP 1 eliminates time consuming set-ups, complicated connections, multiple speakers and often-frustrating optimum speaker placement by applying sophisticated digital sound projection technology to precisely control the orientation of the sound. This technology focuses the sound into ' beams', which are both direct and reflected off surrounding walls delivering true 5.1 channel sound.
