In a major re-shaping of its expanding worldwide business, smartkontrols ltd, the leader in intelligent, energy-saving HVAC control systems for the home, has announced that SmartHome Controls Ltd will now act as its exclusive UK distributor into the residential sector.

SmartHome Controls Ltd is a company set up by two previous directors of smartkontrols - David Fryer and Phil Longhurst. Until recently, David has held the position of Managing Director at smartkontrols, and before that he was the company's Chief Finance Officer. He also has over 9 years' experience in the electronics sector as Finance Director for a subsidiary company within Bowthorpe plc. Phil Longhurst was Operations Director at smartkontrols and has over 20 years' experience in building control and building management systems technology and applications. At SmartHome Controls Phil will be responsible for sales, system engineering, and technical support programmes. SmartHome Controls Ltd continues to operate out of Bellbrook Business Park, Uckfield in West Sussex.
