Leax Lighting Controls Launches SceneMaster 4 Dimmer and MiniMaster Dimming Rack (19/5/2005)

Stand C13

Leax, the leading British manufacturer of architectural lighting controls, is launching two new products at the CEDIA UK Expo this year.

Firstly, we are pleased to launch our attack on the scene set wall dimmer market by previewing our new SceneMaster 4. This dimmer offers 4 programmable scenes for 4 circuits of lighting with additional slave controls an option. Uniquely styled to fit within the width of a double switch, this product is truly elegant. Leax is renowned for its attention to style and aesthetic design, and the SceneMaster 4 offers the most revolutionary solution to programmable dimming on the market.

Scenemaster 4 - the new 2 gang compact programmable wall dimmer is revolutionary

With a maximum load of 1600w over 4 circuits with RS232 connection as standard, SceneMaster 4 will also control tungsten, low-voltage and fluorescent ballasts. Each unit is designed to take a maximum of 3 slave plates. You also have the option of linking 2 units together to control 8 circuits, and all units and slave plates will be sold with infra red receivers.

The product is ideal for residential developments, refurbs, single rooms and hotel bedrooms. The unit will be 'boxed and stocked' in a range of finishes available from September 2005. The SceneMaster 4 offers the ideal solution by providing architectural lighting control in a box and at the touch of a button!

Leax is also launching its unique MiniMaster dimming rack. This scaled-down version of our 8000 system is rated at 5 amps and is designed to fit the tightest of spaces. Uniquely engineered to hang 'back to back' in confined areas, the MiniMaster brings the full functionality and advantage of the 8000 architectural dimming system to sites where space is at a premium.
