IS China - the Business and Professional Development Platform for China's Residential and Commercial Systems Integration Market (1/4/2005)

Second presentation to return to Shanghai in April 2005

Integrated Systems China (IS China) is set to take China by storm in April 2005 following a successful debut in May 2004! Jointly sponsored by 3 leading US-based associations - International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (r) (ICIA/InfoComm(r)), the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association(r) (CEDIA(r)) and the National Systems Contractors Association(r) (NSCA(r)), IS China promises a comprehensive array of products and service offerings for visitors to source and evaluate. IS China 2005 will feature offerings from more than 100 international and local brands, including AMX, Analog Way, Barco, Bosch, Christie Digital, Clarity Visual Systems, Crestron, Da-lite, dnp, Epson, Frank Smart Home, Grandview, Infocus, Jamo, Jupiter Systems, Genelec, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, GQY, projectiondesign, Sanyo, SpeakerCraft, Stewart Filmscreen, Synelec, Toshiba, TV One, Vega, Vtron, WolfVision and many more.

IS China's Project Director, Mr Trevor Soh said "We are very excited about the second presentation of IS China this April. This year's showcase will feature an expanded exhibition and education profile with a comprehensive mix of technologies and solutions for both the commercial and residential sectors. A new addition on the show floor is the Residential Home Theatre & Technology Pavilion, showcasing the latest in Home Theatre and Integration technology. We are also extremely pleased to announce that over 30% of the exhibiting companies will be launching their products for the first time at the showcase. IS China, being a launchpad of new products and technologies is THE industry event to visit for professionals and trade members seeking to expand their representation/operations in China. Some 40% of our exhibitors have already indicated their interest in expanding their Chinese sales network."

VTRON's Vice General Manager, Mr Chen Yu commented: "During Infocomm 2002 and last year's IS China, VTRON has had the opportunity to meet face to face with many industry associates, and through this, obtained a more in-depth understanding on the specific needs in China's application fields. Through the feedback at the show floor, we have implemented various changes in application and design to cater to the needs of the Chinese market. When giving the insights to the prospect of the domestic AV market, Epson China's Sales Engineering Manager, Mr Zhou Tao said: "The exponential growth of the Chinese market calls for more advanced AV technology to support its development. Total projector sales in China for the next five years are projected to sustain a double-digit growth. As one of the world's major projector manufacturers and supplier of the core projector technology, we would like to thank IS China for providing us such an effective platform to help us communicate with potential customers, manufacturers and media from the industry."

The Residential Technology Pavilion will be a major highlight at IS China 2005, featuring the latest in home theater system and technology. An active industrial player in the China home theater market, Chief Representative of Genelec, Mr Jouni Maaranto said: "As the leader of enhanced home theater industry, Genelec is confident of China's market prospects. We hope we can bring the China home theater system market to greater heights with our participation in IS China 2005."

IS China, a launchpad of new products and technologies, being THE industry event to visit for professionals and trade members seeking to expand their representation/operations in China, has the following comments from Crestron Asia's District Manager, Mr Bruce Xiong "Crestron will exhibit its newly designed touch-screen and software technology at IS China 2005. We will also present other sophisticated commercial and residential integration devices which will interest the industry professionals. In line with the rapid development of the China's integration devices market for both the commercial and residential sectors, this will be an avenue for more business opportunities."

DNP Service Representative, Ms Maggie Ng said, "We benefited a lot from our participation at IS China last year, and we are now looking forward to this year's showcase. DNP will launch the Giant Wide Angle Screen(tm) TV studio version, the latest Rigid Ultra Contrast Screen(tm) for NEC WT600 and WT610 projects, and new high-contrast filter Screen (CFS) and newly designed Baffle Frame System. We believe IS China can effectively help promote these new products, the DNP brand and the display technology and solutions, to the targeted professionals and users."

The three sponsoring associations will jointly offer a series of professional seminars on AV technologies and products during the exhibition period. ICIA(r)/InfoComm's Senior Vice-President, Mr Terry Friesenborg said, "IS China 2005 will feature an enhanced professional education programme with some 15 technical sessions for professionals to learn about audio-visual and systems technology development in both the commercial and residential sector. In addition, we are also incorporating 2 market outlook workshops entitled Worldwide Home Theatre Market for Projectors and Flat Panel and Conferencing and Collaboration in China: Market and Trends respectively"
