Already introduced at CEDIA US Expo 2004 and building on its tradition of quality and innovation, SIM2 Multimedia, the leading manufacturer of home theater projectors, announces through its sister company SIM2 UK Ltd. the introduction of the all-new HTL40 LINK LCD display and the DOMINO 55M DLP(tm)-based rear projector.

To further meet consumer demands with Flat screen displays, SIM2 introduces a new LCD display that combines the latest in advanced LCD technologies with sleek, fashionable design and the high performance picture quality that consumers have come to expect from SIM2.

The adopted technological solutions represent the best in terms of material selections. Every component speaks of attention to details: from the front crystal glass, to the refined wood or matt silver back panels, to the crystal or Matt Silver tabletop support (optional). The HTL40 LINK back panel is available in either Matt Silver (standard) or two types of refined woods: Rosewood or Whitened Oak Wood.

And, following the award-winning RTX and DOMINO rear projection displays based on DLP technology, SIM2 will also introduce a new product into the successful DOMINO line: the DOMINO 55M rear projector. With the RTX concept in mind, the DOMINO 55M's spectacular video performance is now available in a more traditional design and matt black finish.

Based on Texas Instruments DLP technology (HD2 chip), the DOMINO 55M features a 1280x720 resolution, a high contrast ratio of 1800:1, a 6 segment color wheel for an artifact-free image, Stereo Loudspeakers via external amplifier - L/R or Center channel, future proof inputs (including Progressive, PC and HDMI(tm)-HDCP), and a cabinet depth of only 15.9" (40 cm).

The DOMINO 55M display is able to reproduce even the subtlest of details thanks to an accurate tracking of the gray scale. And, thanks to Faroudja DCDi de-interlacer the processing of images is invisible and flawless.
