Purely Plasma has opened the first of its planned retail outlets at the Bluewater shopping complex in Kent to provide the modern home with a marriage of flat screen entertainment technology and stylish elegance in design.

The group's ground-breaking approach to technology retailing recognises that plasma screen and LCD TV systems offer new opportunities to create imaginative and effective interior design features. They range from elegant furniture to wallmounted units for both the home and office.

The range includes the latest in flat screen design from Lava, Loewe, LG, and SWEDX, with Italian furniture designed by Porada and high specification audio and surround-sound products from the world-renowned speaker manufacturer Mission.

Purely Plasma's early offers include the play bay 24/7 bed (www.playbay.info), which incorporates a hide-away, fully-rotating 30-inch LCD TV at its foot - and a cabinet in wood and Alcantara containing a retractable Mission 42-inch plasma TV.
