New from Bose - 3•2¥1 GS Series II and 3¥2¥1 Series II DVD Home Entertainment Systems (9/3/2005)

As the creator of 'home cinema from just two visible speakers', Bose now introduce the 3¥2¥1 GS series II and the 3¥2¥1 series II DVD home entertainment systems.

The new systems deliver enhanced performance, advanced functionality, a sleeker design, and even easier set-up than their award-winning predecessors. Both retain their original configurations: two visible speakers, a hideaway ACOUSTIMASS(r) module and a sophisticated media centre.

Updated with the latest iteration of TrueSpace(tm) surround digital processing circuitry from Bose, both systems deliver a convincing home cinema experience. Bose uses this circuitry with Digital 5.1 decoding (Dolby and DTS) and proprietary VIDEOSTAGE(r) 5 decoding circuitry to provide consumers with many of the performance benefits of a five-speaker home cinema system from almost any source.

Each new 3¥2¥1 series II system incorporates a newly designed, smaller media centre with improved display that plays today's most popular audio and video content: DVD-Video, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and AM/FM with RDS. Each of the 3¥2¥1 series II systems was developed as an integrated system, so the electronics, speakers and ACOUSTIMASS(r) module work together to faithfully reproduce audio.

For easier set-up, both 3¥2¥1 series II systems come with an instructional disc that walks consumers through installation, step-by-step. A new universal infrared remote lets owners control their systems and minimizes the need for multiple remotes by operating connected video components, including most TVs, VCRs, PVRs, cable and satellite boxes.

To bring audio throughout the home, the 3¥2¥1 GS and 3¥2¥1 series II systems include new BOSE(r) link circuitry. Each system can now be easily connected to the new LIFESTYLE(r) 48 and 38 systems with the uMusic(tm) intelligent playback system and become part of a home wide audio installation. You can enjoy the benefits of the uMusic intelligent playback system that stores and organises your CD collection.

The premium 3¥2¥1 GS series II DVD home entertainment system includes stylish Gemstone(tm) speakers in graphite grey or silver and the 3¥2¥1 series II DVD home entertainment system is available in graphite grey.

These new systems will be available in March 2005 from authorised Bose dealers.
