Audio Pro Launches 'Cinema Precision' 5.1 Channel Speaker System (1/3/2005)

Five identical aluminium satellites and a potent 100W active subwoofer combine for great sound, style and value.

CSE Solutions is proud to announce the arrival of the ultra-compact 'Cinema Precision' 5.1 channel loudspeaker system from Sweden's Audio Pro.

Comprising five PM-02 satellites and PS-08 active sub in a single outer box, the slim-profile Cinema Precision system promises superior levels of fidelity to accompany flat screens and even larger projector-derived images.

The diminutive PM-02 satellite is fashioned from solid aluminium to match the aesthetics of plasma frames and is small enough to be an unobtrusive addition to any interior. Supplied with integral wall-brackets, the stylishly contoured PM-02 satellites are easily installed to blend beautifully both visually and sonically with their environment.

The PM-02 is a two-way, closed-box mini monitor, using a 12mm soft dome shielded tweeter seated within an elliptical wave-guide between two shielded 75mm doped paper woofers. Aside from its aesthetic virtues, the PM-02's aluminium enclosure reduces significantly the resonant distortions associated with more traditional materials.

The compact PS-08 subwoofer uses a downward firing 200mm doped paper driver with a forward-firing reflex port, powered by a 100W (RMS) amplifier with low-pass filter adjustment from 50-150Hz. Inputs are low-level phono and speaker-level terminals. The PS-08's MDF cabinet is finished in aluminium vinyl on the front and top surfaces, with grey vinyl covering the side panels.

Audio Pro's Cinema Precision system is well engineered and promises a performance of scale, refinement, imaging and articulation that belies its dimensions and price.

Approximate retail price: £500.00 inc VAT
