Secured Digital Applications, Inc. Completes Second Generation SmartHome System (1/3/2005)

Secured Digital Applications, Inc. (OTCBB:SDGL) today announced the introduction of its second-generation EyStar SmartHome Management System, which the company reported will provide users with centralized digital management control for environmental, security and network applications.

"The second-generation EyStar provides users with new features and offers greater flexibility in selecting the applications that a user would like to incorporate into a digital lifestyle," said Patrick Lim, Chairman and CEO of the company. "We see a market for this product among security-conscious customers at the upper end of the digital home management market and among contractors and home designers for specification in their construction projects."

Secured Digital began marketing the EyStar SmartHome console in 2002. The second generation Eystar was developed by the Company's recently acquired subsidiary Innospective Sdn Bhd.

The Eystar SmartHome Management System works with a central processing unit to provide for control of security systems, control of temperature and lights, remote monitoring and a digital telephone system. The product will work with Windows or Apple operating systems and in either a fixed wire or wireless environment. The company said that it plans, with its subsidiary Gallant IT, one of Malaysia's largest Apple dealers, to offer the product with the new Mac Mini.

Some of the features of the Eystar SmartHome Management System include the ability to monitor security systems such as motion detectors, to provide remote viewing capability and to notify up to eight telephone numbers of an intrusion or abnormal temperatures due to a heating system failure. The system also enables the user to control such items within a home as lights, draperies and sprinkler systems, and can be controlled by a touch screen, home computer or cellular telephone.
