The PRS-CR-8300 is an 8" three-way speaker designed for the true audio enthusiast. The 8300 reproduces music flawlessly and also has the capability to handle all of today's demanding digital music tracks and surround sound movies. This speaker system produces strong, sophisticated sound - perfect for most home theater rooms and has the ability to produce a large soundstage that is full and clean. There are three additional models in coaxial versions (2-way with a woofer and tweeter design in 5.25" PRS-CR-525, 6.5" PRS-CR-650 and 8" PRS-CR-800). Talking Points: MSRP is $359.00 - Four models to choose from that are very competitively priced as compared with today's market alternatives. -- The tweeter is a 1" Teterone dome tweeter with neodymium magnet and swivel capability. -- Poly-switch protection circuit on tweeter and midrange. -- 8" woofer has a single piece aluminum cone with real rubber surround for stability and long life. -- Crossover - FR4 board with 12dB for the woofer, 24dB for the midrange, and 12dB for the tweeter. -- Attenuation switches for woofer, midrange and tweeter - 3 positions, 6 dB adjustable. -- Gold terminal posts are spring loaded and can hold 14 AWG wire. -- 2 Piece baffle - Bracket and baffle are individual parts for simple installation. -- Paintable frame and grille to match any decor. -- Paint mask, Cutout template and grille tool (included).
