News TRIBUTARIES Debuts New High Performance SP6BW BiWire Speaker Cable for Home Theater and High-End Stereo (8/2/2005) To provide top quality signal input for todayâs high performance loudspeakers, TRIBUTARIES(R) presents SP6BW BiWire Speaker Cable. Manufactured from Oxygen-Free High Conductivity (OFHC) Copper, SP6BW consists of 4-14 gauge multi-stranded conductors. All four insulated conductors are surrounded by a soft, very flexible, pressure extruded light blue PVC jacket. At the speaker end, the 4-14 gauge conductors are labeled ãHigh Passä for easy connection to the mid/high speaker terminals. At the amplifier end, the 14 gauge wires are twisted together to provide 2-11 gauge wires. To provide a smooth transition from the cable jacket to the heat shrink labeling each end of the cable is fitted with a rubber boot. Terminations are available in TRIBUTARIES(R) Banana Plugs or Spade Lugs. TRIBUTARIES(R) SP6BW BiWire is available in stock lengths of 8 ft., 12 ft., and 16 ft. Suggested Retail Prices range from $140 for an 8 ft. pair with BP101, 102 or 103 Banana Plugs to $350 for a 16 ft. pair with DLT10 Locking Banana Plugs. Custom lengths are available.
