News TRIBUTARIES Announces New Category 5 Enhanced 350MHz Patch Cables for Home Theater and High-End Stereo (8/2/2005) TRIBUTARIES(R) announces a new line of Category 5 Enhanced 350 MHz Patch Cables. Each cable is made with four twisted pair of 24 AWG stranded copper wire and terminate with RJ45 connectors made with gold-plated contacts. These cables feature a round, smooth, flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket ideal for use in equipment racks or patch panels. Each connector is protected with a snag-proof rubberized boot. Specifically designed for high data rate applications, the TRIBUTARIES(R) Cat 5E Patch Cables provide the proper transfer medium for digital signals with support for high bandwidth applications such as 622 ATM, Wideband, and Ethernet 1000 Base-T networks. To ensure total data rate reliability, each cable is tested with connectors attached to 350 MHz. The TRIBUTARIES(R) Cat 5E Patch Cables are available in two colors blue or yellow. They are available in individual poly bags or Bulk-Paks in lengths of 6", 1', 3', 6' and 10'.
