Panasonic Executive Fumio Ohtsubo opens International
Keynote Area at IFA 2005 (3/2/2005)
Fumio Ohtsubo, President of Panasonic«s AVC
Company, will open the International Keynote Area at the IFA 2005
with an inaugural speech. The 2005 IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung)
consumer electronics show will be held in Berlin, Germany, from
2-7 September 2005.
Thus on 2 September, on the first day of
the show, the IFA's co-organisers, Gesellschaft fŸr Unterhaltungs-
und Kommunikationselektronik GmbH (gfu) and Messe Berlin GmbH, will
welcome one of the CE industry's leading international figures,
who combines in-depth knowledge of its business dynamics with technical
visions, without losing sight of electronics products' potential
impact.
After becoming Director, New Business, Audio
and Video, Mr. Ohtsubo occupied various management positions in
the company, before being appointed Senior Managing Director in
June 2003. On 2 September 2005, at the IFA International Keynote,
he will focus on topics including his past business experience and
current industry trends.
Senior Managing Director Fumio Ohtsubo is
convinced that "when the CE industry develops electronics products
it must listen to people's needs. It is vital to transform life's
ideas and dreams into real products for everyday use. It was this
kind of thinking that made Panasonic a global brand, and allowed
us to become a company that now operates all over the world, with
a turnover in 2003 of more than 70 billion dollars."
The IFA 2005 International Keynote once again
offers an opportunity for an in-depth look at the electronics industry,
a chance to see the latest product developments, and the opportunity
to give some thought to visions for the future some thought. From
9.45 a.m. onwards for the duration of the fair the organisers will
invite journalists, trade visitors and experts to hear the latest
about exciting topics from a variety of fields, as reported by the
industry's top managers.
