AWE Promises Installers the Drive of their Lives in new "Motorsport Sensation" Promotion (3/2/2005)

AWE, the top a/v equipment distributor to the UK custom installation trade, has teamed up with leading corporate entertainment specialist, PalmerSport, and premier CI plasma brand, Pioneer, in its high-octane Spring promotion, PalmerSport's Motorsport Sensation.

PalmerSport's Motorsport Sensation is a spectacular, one day driving event from AWE, the exclusive UK distributors of Pioneer Plasma TV's to the custom installation trade, taking place on Friday 27th May 2005. It will provide qualifying AWE customers with the unique opportunity to put an outstanding variety of fabulous high performance cars through their paces. These include a Formula Palmer Audi, a Jaguar powered JP1 Le-Mans prototype, a Caterham 7 Superlight, a Nissan 350Z and a Clio Cup Race Car. Installers can push these vehicles to the absolute limits of their capabilities at the exhilarating 400 acre Bedford Autodrome circuit, designed for optimum enjoyment and safety by ex-Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer.

Successful participation in the MotorSport Sensation is based on points awarded by AWE for units purchased from its Pioneer Plasma TV range between 8 November 2004 and 31 March 2005. Every purchase will count since custom installers will receive 10 points from AWE each time they buy a Pioneer PDP-43MXE1 or PDP-50MXE1, 20 points for a PDP-435FDE, 30 points for a PDP-435XDE and 50 points for a PDP-505XDE. One place at the Motorsport Sensation will be guaranteed for every 400 points accumulated during the qualification period - equivalent to just 8 Pioneer PDP-505XDE TV's. However, earning only 50 points still gives customers the chance to take part as this will guarantee automatic entry into a free draw for places at the event.

The Motorsport Sensation promotion co-incides with AWE's recent addition of three new models to its Pioneer range of high definition displays - the PDP-435XDE, the PDP-505XDE and the PDP-435FDE. All models are available with new enhanced plasma panels, media receivers and with AWE's full 1 year on site warranty.
