Projecta presents affordable, easy-to-install, high quality solution for Home Cinema use at Integrated Systems Europe 2005 (1/2/2005)

Cinema quality viewing now available to everyone

Projecta, a world leader in development, manufacture and sales of both professional and home cinema projection screens, is introducing the new Movieboard projection screen, specially designed for Ðbudding- Home Cinema owners. A fully taut matte white projection screen is attached to a sturdy yet lightweight board, ensuring a crystal-clear image and natural colours from all viewing angles. A black aluminium frame blocks out distracting reflections and increases perceived image clarity. Its modern, attractive design ensures the Movieboard will look fantastic in absolutely any interior. There is nothing more to assemble after purchase.

The MovieBoard is a lightweight instantly usable projection screen. The MovieBoard is easily mounted to the wall using just two screws: one can enjoy their MovieBoard at home in no time. An ideal solution for anyone who would like to own a professional-quality Home Cinema setup, without the need for the screen to be rolled up manually or electrically, when not in use. It is available in video and widescreen aspect ratios, 4:3 and 16:9 respectively. The 4:3 versions are available in 98x128 cm (viewing area 90x120) and 128x168cm (120x160). The 16:9 version comes in 74x128cm (68x120 viewing angle) and 98x168cm (90x160). This lightweight, portable projection screen is also ideal for professional presentations, classrooms or lectures. The Movieboard, available now, comes complete with hanging materials and retails at Û 200,-.

Taking the lead in Home Cinema

"Home Cinema owners and professional presenters will often spend a lot of time and money obtaining the best possible equipment," adds Peter de Kroon, Managing Director of Projecta. "People will go to great lengths to create a perfect presentation or build a Home Cinema, only to see the effect ruined by projecting on an inadequate surface. The quality of viewing is largely determined by the quality of the screen onto which an image is projected."

The Movieboard will further consolidate Projecta's lead in Home Cinema applications. The company now offers solutions for every type of Home Cinema and owner. Last year, Projecta introduced a specially engineered Home Cinema fabric as well as the revolutionary VariVision electrol Home Cinema screen, which offers the largest possible high-quality picture at an attractive price. The company's expertise and lead in Home Cinema is further demonstrated by its unique online 'Screen Selector' which guides visitors towards their ideal screen solution in a quick and easily understandable manner.
