SpeakerCraft's New In-Wall AIM LCR Speakers are the Ideal Compliment for Plasma TVs and LCDs (1/2/2005)

In-Wall AIM LCR Series Features Pivoting Dual Woofers and Pivoting Tweeters

SpeakerCraft, America's original manufacturer of in-wall speakers, announces two new in-wall AIM LCR speakers, each with woofers and tweeters that are fully aimable for acoustic accuracy focused at critical listening areas. Both models feature the superior frequency response and power handling needed for home cinema and can be used for front left, right and center as well as rear surround channels.

"Building on the award-winning AIM LCR Series of fully pivoting in-ceiling speakers, the new AIM LCR in-wall series brings speaker technology to yet another level." Commented Jeff Francisco, SpeakerCraft's V.P. of Product Development, "With the popularity of thin on-wall displays customers have demanded that the audio in their systems keep up with the dramatic improvement in the visual presentation. The AIM LCRs discretely integrate into the home cinema and through their unique proprietary features allow the home cinema audio to be its best. The in-wall AIM LCR models allow both woofers and tweeters to be accurately directed to the listening area, all while remaining discretely hidden behind a flush mounted grill."

AIM LCR speakers can be used in any position of a home cinema speaker system. A single AIM LCR can be used for the front center channel, or a pair can be used for front or rear left and right. Because the AIM LCR speakers are magnetically shielded, its perfectly safe to place them close to the television.

The AIM LCR One features dual 5.25 injection molded graphite cone woofers with phasing plugs and 1" silk dome tweeters. It's power handling is 80 watts and frequency response is 45Hz to 20Hz + 3dB. The AIM LCR Three features dual 5.25 aluminium magnesium cone woofers with phasing plugs and 1" aluminium magnesium dome tweeters. It's power handling is 100 watts and frequency response is 40Hz to 20Hz + 3dB.
