RBH Takes it Outside with the Introduction of a new all Weather Speaker (1/2/2005)

RBH Sound Inc. introduces the AWS-6 all weather speaker. Able to withstand the elements the AWS-6 can provide homeowners with music all year long.

The AWS-6 is constructed using weather resistant materials that are designed to be weather resistant all year long. The 6.5-inch polygraphite cone woofer, and the 1-inch Mylar dome tweeter are especially coated with a weather resistant material to help them last outside in the dead of winter, or the height of summer. Homeowners can install them outside and just forget about them.

"We wanted to provide a whole house speaker solutionÑincluding the outside of the house", says Daren Egan, sales manager for RBH Sound, Inc. "Homeowners will be able to enjoy RBH sound quality inside their house and out on the patio at the same time."

Further ensuring its integrity in all kinds of weather conditions the cabinet itself is constructed from UV protected ABS. The five-way binding posts are made from rustproof brass, and the grille is made from aluminum also impervious to rust. The specially designed bracket is made from aluminum and features extra corner supports for mobile applications such as an RV or marine applications. Using the bracket the AWS-6 can be mounted vertically or horizontally for easy concealment under a soffit.
