SpeakerCraft's New Digital Multi-Zone Receivers Roll Total Convenience into one Package (19/1/2005)

Multi-Source/Multi-Zone Receivers Solves Dealer Problems

SpeakerCraft, America's original manufacturer of in-wall speakers, announces their new MZC-88 and MZC-66 amplifiers, the only multi-zone, multi-source manufactured today that allows the dealer to start with the basic single gang keypad. In addition, because these amplifiers are digital, they are smaller, lighter and more efficient, thus, giving off less heat and more conducive for stacking.

Says Jeff Francisco, SpeakerCraft's Vice President of Product Development, "by combining our dealer input with SpeakerCraft's talented engineering staff, we have produced the next generation of electronics that our dealers have been asking for. The MZC-66 comes with six of the most common source buttons already installed, and the MZC-88 will come with eight of the most common source buttons installed. The MZC-66 and the MZC-88 are slam dunks for ease of installation."

MZC-88 and MZ-66 feature telephone interfacing, such as paging and doorbell functions, such as mute. Both models are shipped ready for a whole house Ethernet system, including a link to the Internet.

The MZ-66 features 6 stereo digital amplifiers at 30 watts per channel. It offers six sources, with direct push button selection and six independent zones. It also includes six Master Keypads with IR receivers. The Numeric and Function keypads are available as optional additions to the system.

The MZC-88 features eight stereo digital amplifiers at 50 watts per channel including two built-in AM/FM tuners. It offers the eight sources, with direct push button selection and eight independent zones. It also includes eight Master Keypads with IR receivers. The Numeric and Function keypads are available as optional additions to the system.
