A Naim AV system need no longer stop at the amplifiers

Naim Audio will make the first deliveries of their new range of loudspeakers - the n-SERIES - into their retailers during December 2004.

Naim targeted the n-SERIES at customers looking to establish or upgrade multi-channel music or audio/video systems that are looking for performance without sacrificing style or space. Two n-SATS however, with or without an n-SUB make an excellent stereo loudspeaker system.

The range consists of three loudspeakers; the n-SATS satellite speaker, the n-CENT centre-channel loudspeaker, the n-SUB remote controlled subwoofer and two accessories; the n-STAND and n-BRACKETS for wall mounting.

The prices of the component parts of the system are:

n-SERIES

The n-System is an extremely high quality loudspeaker system designed to offer exceptional performance and versatility. The n-SATS for example, work well both as the front and rear channels of a 5.1 multi-channel system or as a good pair of small monitors for two-channel use.

The fully-shielded n-SATS features a 150mm, pulp cone driver with low-loss suspension and a phase plug, combined with a 19mm annular radiator HF driver as used in the Naim Ariva. The tweeter fits into a separate sealed enclosure and the 5-litre cabinet benefits from proprietary mass-damping and heavy-duty internal wiring.

Designed to complement the n-SATS as part of a multi-channel audio or AV system, the n-CENT uses matching 150mm bass/mid units and an Ariva style HF driver mounted in a similarly robust enclosure. Each driver fits into its own separate chamber within the cabinet for optimum performance.

The n-SUB is designed to complement the n-SATS and n-CENT as part of a multi-channel audio or AV system - or a pair of n-SATS as part of a stereo system where the owner does not have the room to accommodate a pair of floor-standing loudspeakers. Based around a 250mm long-throw driver and a powerful integral amplifier (housed in a separate compartment) the n-SUB provides facilities for great user-configurability, including, for example, completely different set-ups for music and movies. The n-SUB comes with a remote control for optimum ease-of-use.

To help users achieve the finest performance and an ideal installation, the n-STAND and n-BRACKET are available - as options - to support and position the n-SATS correctly. Both feature a three-point, minimal contact speaker interface, and the n-STAND includes cable management for a tidy installation.

n-SATS

The n-SATS designed to work well as four of a 5.1 AV system or as a good small monitor for two-channel use.

n-CENT

Designed to complement the N-SATS as part of a multi-channel audio or AV system.

n-SUB

Designed to complement the N-SATS and N-CENT as part of a multi-channel audio or AV system or a pair of N-SATS as part of a stereo system where the owner does not have the floor space for a pair of Floorstanding loudspeakers.
