AVolution Powers Sight and Sound In 2005 NextGen Home (14/12/2004)

From the kitchen to the bath, the home office and the home theater, AVolution will bring state-of-the-art audiovisual (AV) technology to the NextGen Home as a key sponsor. Popular audiovisual products including plasmas and LCD displays, audio systems, projectors, screens, control systems and security systems from leading manufacturers will be featured in the showcase home that will be displayed at five major trade shows in early 2005.

AVolution is a broad multi-year awareness campaign sponsored by the International Communications Industries Association, Inc.(R) (ICIA(R)) and its members which include manufacturers, dealers, integrators, consultants and rental and staging companies as well as presentations professionals.

"Consumers are very comfortable with technology, purchasing AV products and driving innovations," says Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., Executive Director of ICIA. "Plasmas and flat screens like those featured in the NextGen Home are driving growth in the $19 billion AV industry that is expected to grow nearly 10 percent annually for the next five years."

Tens of thousands of consumers, builders, architects, designers and members of the media are projected to tour the NextGen Home that will be showcased at these tradeshows:

¥ NextGen "The Future is Here" Home: 2005 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) January 6-9, 2005, Las Vegas
