Artcoustic Debuts Small Subwoofer With BIG Sound (10/12/2004)

Diablo Tech+1 Subwoofer - not much larger than a shoebox - is designed to fit almost anywhere

Artcoustic, the Danish high performance on-wall loudspeaker company has introduced the Diablo Tech+1 Subwoofer - the smallest and only powered floor standing subwoofer in the product line. Comparable in size to a large shoe box, the Diablo Tech +1 is in keeping with the company's "décor- first" design philosophy. The Diablo Tech +1 will be launched at the CES show Las Vegas Jan.6-9th 2005 and the ISE show Amsterdam Jan. 26-29th 2005.

Says Artcoustic UK Agent, Paul Cummin, "The low frequency speaker, amplifier and electronics package are integrated into a single cabinet so small that it can be slid under or behind a couch or chair, easily blending into any interior. It keeps Artcoustic, a product line known for 'home decor friendly design,' in a leadership position with thin, well-crafted audio products."

The Tech+1 is available in white, silver or black finish, and custom colours are available.

APPLICATIONS

The Diablo Tech+1 subwoofer is ideal for 2-channel / near field studio monitoring, home audio or cinema for small to medium sized rooms, and commercial applications such as restaurants, bars, boardrooms, etc. It features a maximum sound pressure level of 105 dB at 1 meter. Multiple units may be daisy-chained for large room applications.

This subwoofer's size belies its performance. The Diablo Tech+1 is designed using a specially engineered 10 inch bass unit, producing a depth and power that far exceeds its diminutive dimension.
