Installation Europe Launches Into Residential Market
in Collaboration With HiddenWires (3/12/2004)
Installation Europe, the market-leading journal
for integrators of audio, video and lighting within commercial buildings,
is to launch Residential Systems Europe from January 2005. The monthly
supplement will be published in collaboration with HiddenWires,
the respected web and e-news service provider for the residential
sector.
"Over the last few years, the market for
residential systems has become much more sophisticated, to the extent
that it is now one of the fastest-growing sectors in our industry,"
says Installation Europe's editor, Dan Goldstein. "As well as the
established residential specialists, there are now many commercial
integrators operating in this field, while many more are considering
doing so.
"The aim of Residential Systems Europe will
be to ensure that this large and influential community has all the
business tools it needs to develop this market further. Rather than
lots of hype about gadgets, RSE will concentrate on the integration
of audio, video and lighting control technologies, and the business
issues which surround them."
Joe Hosken, publisher of Installation Europe,
adds, "The residential systems installation business is currently
an exciting place to be, and the combination of Installation Europe
and HiddenWires will ensure that we deliver Europe's best targeted
news and analysis in both print and electronic form."
Stella Plumbridge, publisher of HiddenWires
says, "In just 18 months, HiddenWires has proved that there is a
large readership eager for high-quality information about custom
install home automation and entertainment. We are pleased to announce
Installation Europe as a strategic partner because it complements
our online offering with the benefits of print, and because the
Installation Europe team shares our commitment to high standards
of content and presentation."
Yasmin Hashmi, managing editor of HiddenWires,
will act as contributing editor to Residential Systems Europe. As
Hashmi puts it, "Because of its breadth of content, HiddenWires
appeals across the board. We currently receive over 50,000 visitors
each month and this new partnership will capitalise on the community
we have built and further both our profiles."
Residential Systems Europe will debut inside
the January issue of Installation Europe, which itself will receive
bonus distribution at the Integrated Systems Europe exhibition in
Amsterdam, being held 26-28 January 2005.
Installation Europe is published by CMPi
UK, one of Europe's leading B2B media companies. HiddenWires is
published by SYPHA, an independent consultancy which has been publishing
guides for the professional audio and video markets since 1990.
