Home Entertainment Device in Your Living Room
Alienware(R), the leading manufacturer of high-performance

the availability of the DHS(TM) 2 Series media center system. The
DHS 2 Series is the newest addition to Alienware's line of media
center systems, which includes the DHS 5 Series and the DHD with

budget and need.
Equipped with Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP
Media Center Edition 2005, the Alienware DHS 2 Series was created
to replace nearly every home entertainment device. The DHS 2 Series
delivers the options and features of a DVD player and recorder,
CD player and recorder, DVR, FM Tuner, CD jukebox and a high- performance
PC. In addition, all of the content from the DHS 2 Series can be
shared with other TVs in the home through the use of Microsoft's
Media Center Extender devices.
With prices starting at $1,399, the DHS 2
Series can be customized with up to 4 GB of low latency DDR 400
SDRAM and up to 250 GB of storage packed in a low-profile, VCR-size
design that seamlessly integrates into any home entertainment area.
The DHS 2 Series includes the option of using dual standard definition
TV tuners that allow two shows to be recorded at once and optional
built in Wireless G technology. Designed to work with your existing
equipment, the DHS 2 features standard A/V connectors so you can
use the same cables you already own. As an exclusive source of DISCover(R)
Console Technology, the DHS 2 Series also introduces the ease of
use of video game console style playing into the PC world.
"The DHS 2 Series is designed to be the perfect
fit for any home entertainment center," said Robert Lusk, vice president
of sales and marketing for Alienware. "The space-saving design combines
with a vast array of cutting-edge features to give customers the
complete entertainment package they have been looking for at a value
they will appreciate."
The DHS 2 Series is available immediately
in the North American market while Alienware will launch the new
media center system throughout Europe in early 2005.
