THIEL ViewPoint Wins "Best of Innovations" award for 2005 (29/11/2004)

The THIEL ViewPoint, a high performance loudspeaker for wall-mounted, flat-panel video displays, has been honored as the Audio category's "Best of Innovations" award winner for 2005. Now in its eighth year, the 2005 "Best of Innovations" award is given to the most highly honored products in their category.

The Innovations judging panel, comprised of an independent industrial designer, an independent engineer, and a member of the trade press review and evaluate each entry based on: engineering qualities; product's intended use/function; unique/ and novel features; improvement to company; and aesthetic and design qualities. One product is then chosen as the best of that category.

"We are delighted that the THIEL ViewPoints were selected for an Innovations Award for the 2005 International CES," commented THIEL president Kathy Gornik. "We are also pleased that they were selected as a "Best of Innovations Honoree" representing the best product in the Audio category. The ViewPoints offer a truly high performance audio experience while seamlessly integrating with any Plasma TV for an elegant appearance. The ViewPoints are a perfect product for today's decor-conscious customer who also desires the best in sound to accompany their flat panel video system," Gornik concluded.

The THIEL ViewPoint and other winning products will be featured in a special display in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) during the 2005 International CES.
