Multiroom Product Opens Doors To Untapped Market (29/10/2004)

Property developers in the UK can now offer purchasers of their new homes a multi-room audio entertainment system for around a quarter of the price of a conventional system, without compromising on sound quality. The Systemline Modular product can be sold by developers as part of a range of options that can help meet the needs of aspirationalâ buyers and has been proven to increase the saleability of certain developments.

Systemline Modular may be of particular interest to developers working in areas where the ability to embellish internally is key; there is limited space or purchasers are looking for a modern, elegant lifestyle. It can play a vital role in differentiating penthouses and executive apartments.

Priced to make it affordable for every new home, Systemline Modular is available from just £600 with a six-room system costing just £2,500. In addition, the cost can often be added to the mortgage as part of the house purchase price.

Bob Abraham, Business Development Director of Armour Home Electronics (AHE) who has developed the product, explains: "Prospective buyers increasingly expect their new homes to be wired for multi-room solutions and the market is moving towards pre-fitted product as part of the standard specification of a home. Our product has a high-perceived value and its entry level pricing and simplicity will help developers to tap into a vast potential market which is not currently being addressed by other systems on the market."

The product utilises CAT 5 cabling (low priced data cabling) which is increasingly already pre-fitted into new homes for computer networks and telephone systems making it very cost effective. Combined with the unique patented electronics solution, this facilitates a high fidelity sound at a low cost. It is easy to install and has a unique shutdown facility that activates if it is wired incorrectly, making it impossible to damage. It needs no programming and can be configured simply by using the wand handset. It can also be integrated with home automation systems that can add further value.

The product has proven reliability as AHED has been manufacturing innovative, high quality, reliable multi-room audio systems for over 15 years and it is supported by a global network of distributors and installers who are certified and trained to install and provide technical support.

Using unique hidden technology, the Systemline Modular product allows users to access their audio entertainment anywhere in the house by remote control, and even have different music on in different rooms, without visible wires or ugly black boxes. They simply plug their existing audio entertainment system into a discreet wall socket. It promotes a minimalist, lifestyle as the amplification is hidden away in the in-ceiling speakers so there are no ugly black boxes resulting in clean lines and extra space. Due to its modular design the product is scaleable and clients can choose a bespoke system tailored to their own specific needs.
