RGB Communications win AV Distributor of the Year
Award for the second time (26/10/2004)
RGB Communications are delighted to have won the
"AV Distributor of the Year" Award at the prestigious 2004 AV Awards
ceremony held at the Celtic Manor Hotel on Wednesday 13th October.
This is the second occasion that RGB have achieved this distinction,
having won the award when they last entered in 2002.
"Distributor of the Year" is awarded to the
company, which has shown the most marketing, technological or applicational
innovation and also demonstrated business development as well as
good turnover and profit performance. Special attention was paid
to service levels, channel innovation and new product development.
The judging panel commented "RGB Communications
won on the basis of its consistently high levels of service, the
new facilities provided to clients, the new products it had taken
on and especially the new ways it found to add value for its customers".
"This award means a tremendous amount to
all of us at RGB" commented Managing Director Gordon Innocent. "The
last 18 months have been a period of great change Ð four entirely
new franchises and switching our controls business to AMX from Crestron
were more than enough for most businesses to cope with but we have
achieved even more. We relocated our warehouse facility (and trebled
our capacity), completely redeveloped our training & demonstration
facilities at Hungerford and grown our business substantially. We
have put down solid foundations for the future growth and continued
prosperity of RGB Communications".
"This is a tribute to every single member
of staff at RGB Communications, who have all contributed to this
achievement Ð it has been a true team performance" said RGB Deputy
Managing Director Caroline Britt. "We must now maintain and further
improve on this level of performance to ensure all our customers
continue to receive only the very best in terms of service and support."
The AV Awards are hotly contested and attract
many entrants every year. They are organised by AV Magazine and
represent the pinnacle of company achievement and recognition within
the AV industry. Judging is totally independent by a panel of senior
industry players that includes users, industry authorities, producers,
consultants and market researchers.
