Denon voted a Cool BrandLeader by the UK Superbrands
Cool Council (26/10/2004)
As defined by the Cool Council "Cool BrandLeaders
are brands that have become extremely desirable among style leaders
and influencers. They have a magic about them, signifying that users
have an exceptional taste and style."
This is what they said; "Denon dazzles with
the excellence of its product, not it's advertising spend."
What does Denon have in common with MTV,
Diesel Audi, Agent Provocateur, Gaggia, Moet et Chandon and Oakley?
Each was named by Britain's "Superbrands
Cool Council" as one of Britain's coolest brands. Chosen from the
tens of thousands of brands on the UK market, short listed down
to 700 and then just 50 brands chosen. Denon is proud to be in the
company of so many market leaders.
Denon is unusual amongst the winners, in
that the 'cool' result is due to word-of-mouth from satisfied users
and sheer product quality, not to the huge ad budgets enjoyed by
most of the other winners.
The accolade will receive extensive publicity
and Denon is featured in a DPS in the glossy style book covering
the Awards, that will be cover mounted on Dazed & Confused Magazine.
Mike O'Mahony MD Denon UK: "In an increasingly
downmarket world, Denon's success proves that quality still counts."
