The HD 595, is suited to demanding audiophiles
and fans of SACD and DVD-Audio, with a wide and even frequency response
covering an impressive 12-38,500 Hz.
The special diaphragm geometry keeps intermodulation
distortion to an absolute minimum, and the use of a highly constant
compressed cellulose fleece ensures that harmonic distortion is
reduced to 0.1%.
Most importantly, the HD 595 combines listening
pleasure with outstanding wearing comfort. The extraordinary adjustability
helps them comfortably hug the head, assuring optimal acoustic positioning
and the pads fit around the ear without actually touching it. The
comfort-conscious design include breathable and moisture regulating
ear pads, a one-sided cable and surprisingly light weight, to encourage
extended listening. The striking new headband shape flows smoothly
from the side of each ear cup.Ê
Sennheiser's patented "Eargonomic Acoustic
Refinement" (E.A.R) system, slightly angles the acoustic baffle
within each ear cup, to assure that sound projects precisely parallel
to the ear. This improved acoustic coupling helps optimise the ergonomic
participation of ears in the listening process. New diaphragm improvements
(in both materials and manufacturing) deliver extended clean low
bass and the optimised, field-strengthened neodymium iron magnets
enhance efficiency and dynamics.
As an extra feature, the headphones come
with a clever bracket that allows them to be fitted to the wall
or a shelf.
