The UFO has landed! Vantage Point Revolutionise Flat-Panel Mounting (27/9/2004)

The UFO has landed in the UK, with universal acclaim along with the full approval and endorsement from a number of leading Plasma manufactures and Custom Installers.

Universal Flat-panel One is a revolutionary Plasma Mount, designed and engineered for a discrete, professional, one-person home installation. Manufactured by Vantage Point from the USA, the leader in consumer Audio/Video support products. The UFO is designed to make the job of the Installer as easy as possible; from specifying to wiring the entire process is simplified by this one UFO Mount at only £299.95.

The Universal Flat-Panel One Mount allows for -3¡ to 90¡ Tilt articulation of the Plasma screen, making the installation much easier by eliminating the need to pre-connect cables prior to mounting. The mounting hole-fixing pattern is universal and conforms to VESA 200mm used by the larger LCD TV's, and will accommodate Plasma mounting up to the larger 50" displays.

The ingenious, Patent Pending design, makes extensive use of light aluminium in its manufacture. The aluminium rail is mounted to the wall using 2 or 3 small plates, and the unique articulation brackets are bolted to the back of the monitor, which then simply hooks on to the rail.

The UFO Plasma Mount is the first key product to be announced by Konnectson UK Ltd, a brand new distribution company set up to import and distribute a number of quality products to Hi-Fi and A/V Retailers as well as Professional Custom Installers.

Vantage Point is one of the largest manufacturers of Equipment Supports and Mounts in the USA, whose products are sold under a number of brand names. Cinemagear, of which the UFO Plasma Mount is the first product; Axsys, which are LCD & Projector Mounts; Soundgear which consists of a range of Speaker mounts, and finally the Vantage Point Equipment Supports.
