Innovations 2005 Design And Engineering Awards Seeks
The Worls's Best In Consumer Electronics Engineering And Design

Entries for Innovations 2005, the consumer
technology design and engineering awards program sponsored by the
Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and endorsed by the Industrial
Designers Society of America (IDSA), will be accepted beginning
September 13 through October 4.
Since 1989, the Innovations awards program
has given manufacturers and developers an opportunity to have their
products judged by a preeminent panel of journalists, designers
and engineers, with the winning products showcased at the 2005 International
CES- the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow - January
6-9, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As the most widely renowned consumer technology
awards program, Innovations 2005 recognizes the best designed and
engineered products in the categories of:

Now in its eighth year, the 2005 Best of
Innovations award is given to the most highly honored products in
their category. The Best of Innovations honorees will be announced
November 10, 2004 at a pre-CES press conference at the Time Warner
Center in New York. Honorees also are highlighted throughout the
Innovations 2005 promotional materials and will be previewed in
a special display in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention
Center (LVCC) during the 2005 International CES. All honoree products
will be featured in the Innovations display showcase in the CES
Central Plaza of the LVCC, along with live product demonstrations
by selected award-winners in the new Innovations Plus pavilion in
the CES Central Plaza of the LVCC.
Innovations is open anyone who wishes to
enter, regardless of whether they are exhibiting at CES. To submit
products for Innovations 2005, review last year's winners or register
