News Ethereal Introduces HDMI-to-HDMI Cable (23/9/2004) Ethereal's Elite Home Theater line expands with cable for the increasingly popular HDMI audio/video equipment interface Ethereal Premium Home Theater Accessories - a division of Metra Electronics - introduces its HDMI-to-HDMI cable. Providing a true one-plug solution for today's - and tomorrow's - sophisticated audio/video systems, Ethereal's HDMI-to-HDMI cable supports resolutions of 480p, 720p, 1080i and I080p, as well as multi-channel digital audio. This advanced-technology cable is able to deliver five gigabytes of data per second, leaving plenty of bandwidth to accommodate future standards and requirements. Ethereal's HDMI-to-HDMI cable is available in 2m, 5m, 10m and 15m lengths, as well as in standard style (out of wall) and CL rated for custom in-wall installations. Models are numbered accordingly: HDMI2, HDMI5, HDMI10 and HDMI15. "At Ethereal, we realize that HDMI will quickly become the most common interconnect cable used in A/V hookups," said Brent McCall, Ethereal Home Theater Product Manager. "Our HDMI-to-HDMI cable provides the high quality and wide range of installation options for which Ethereal is known."
