News Crestron Introduces Cameo Keypads At CEDIA 2004 (23/9/2004) New generation of keypads available in a wide variety of decorator colors, with choice of conventional installation or exclusive low-profile flush-mounting system As part of the growing Total Home Technology product line, Crestron introduces the latest generation of keypads, Cameo, at CEDIA 2004. Cameo is a new concept in keypads featuring a small footprint and slim profile that enhance the dˇcor of any room. Exquisitely simple yet extensively customizable, the Crestron Cameo keypad can be configured by the installer with up to six backlit buttons, which allow both "rocker" action and single press operation for up to 18 functions in total. For the ultimate in configuration flexibility, a complete set of buttons and blanks in three sizes is included with every keypad. Cameo is offered in a wide variety of decorator colors, plus black, white, almond and brown, and the choice of standard installation in a conventional gang-box or as a standalone using Crestron's exclusive flush-mounting system for a low-profile appearance that blends subtly into any room.
