AUTON Motorized Systems Reaches Elusive Milestone
(22/9/2004)
AUTON Motorized Systems, the world's oldest and
largest manufacturer of TV lifts and other concealment devices,
will begin its 50 Year Anniversary Celebration at the CEDIA Expo
2004 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The show, the largest of its kind,
runs from September 10 through September 12.
Beginning in 1955 with the pioneering of
motorized drapery systems, AUTON Motorized Systems has proven that
foresight and innovation will stand the test of time. The recipient
of numerous accolades and awards, AUTON Motorized Systems has introduced
several key systems that have become the standard in the motorized
lift industry.
AUTON Motorized Systems was the first manufacturer
to use a rack and pinion lift system, replacing the old-fashioned
scissor-type lift; was the first to implement a motorized swivel
base; was the first to manufacture the ceiling drop-down system,
and was the first to introduce its award-winning Automatic Shut-Off
technology.
AUTON'S exclusive IN-VIS-O-TRAK system is
already known around the world for its ease of use and practical
application while the line leading Plasma Lift has become AUTON'S
most popular product. Tens of thousands of AUTON products are installed
throughout the world and have become the go-to automation product
for architects, designers, builders, and fine furniture makers.
Even after fifty years in business, Virgil
Walker, President of AUTON Motorized Systems, is actively pursuing
the development of new products and technologies. During a recent
interview, he said, "We intend to remain the world leader and that
means we have to continue to develop new products and new technologies.
Just because we've been doing this for a long time doesn't mean
that we want to stop growing. AUTON will continue to redefine itself
as long as we're in existence."
Since 1955, AUTON Motorized Systems has been
manufacturing the world's finest rack and pinion systems used to
hide, reveal, and automate various systems such as plasma panel
lifts, television drop down units, adjustable work surfaces, motorized
screens, speaker lifts, and customized furniture designs.
AUTON products are used throughout the world
in residential, corporate, commercial, institutional, industrial,
hotel, watercraft, and aircraft environments. AUTON clients include
The White House, Hyatt Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, CBS Studios, MGM
Studios, Walt Disney, Universal Studios. Additionally, AUTON products
are used by many of the world's most recognizable celebrities.
