WeatherHawk Announces XP/X Software for PC and Mac (21/9/2004)

At the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA 2004) Exposition, Sept 8-12 in Indianapolis, IN , WeatherHawk (Booth#30) announces the availability of WeatherHawk-XP for PC Windows, and WeatherHawk-X for Apple OS X software for its family of personal and home automation weather stations.

The Apple Mac OS has generally been neglected by weather station manufacturers in favor of the mainstream Windows OS. With the WeatherHawk-XP/X weather display software both PC and MAC users can display and archive WeatherHawk data in addition to posting it to a home or business website.

An additional feature of this exciting new software is user display language selection. A user can easily change the display language "on-the-fly" by simply switching the language preference from the menu bar. Many languages are currently supported but if the user's language is not on the current language list they can easily translate the display word list themselves using an included "Localizer" utility.

WeatherHawk-X/XP is a true multi-platform, international weather data display application that is ideal for home, business, or school use. Both versions of the software are delivered on a single CD, which recognizes the Host computer OS and auto-installs.

In a typical home automation application a WeatherHawk weather station will serve both the home control system and the owner intranet. The multi-host feature of a WeatherHawk wireless weather station can provide input to touch screens, as well as personal computers and the household website.
