VEKTO NETWORK TRANSLATOR

The VEKTO network translator is the gateway to the Ethernet world for KNEKT multi-room products. Combined with a control device, it interfaces TCP/IP, RS232 and RC-5 commands to provide fast and responsive access to entertainment throughout the home. A VEKTO is required in every room for which control of the multi-zone system is required. It is a small unit (same size as LINN DEKODA), therefore can be easily and discreetly hidden in a room.

INTERSEKT R4S5 - 'compact & flexible for smaller installations'

Another newcomer to the KNEKT range on display is a compact audio distribution solution, designed to offer the flexibility of INTERSEKT for smaller installations. INTERSEKT R4S5 independently distributes and controls up to 5 audio sources to 4 zones within a KNEKT Multi-room System. It enables the smaller installation to benefit from all the features of the R8S8 without having to leave connections unused, making it a much more cost effective solution and ideal for new build developments, small apartments and commercial premises, etc.

Over the last year, a number of exciting new additions have also been made to our range of Home theatre solutions, all of which will be presented at CEDIA, including our full complement of UNIDISK products and system controllers.

UNIDISK 2.1 Player - 'true convergence'

A universal source component engineered to deliver reference standard video and superior pitch accurate audio performance. Based around Linn's proprietary SILVER DISK ENGINE(tm) universal decoding technology, UNIDISK 2.1 unifies high performance audio and video sources and embraces the latest quality 5" optical disc formats.

KINOS system controller - 'stunning value and performance'

KINOS is Linn's new high-performance multi-channel AV system controller. The compact and comprehensive KINOS is a winning combination of stunning value and performance, making it the ideal choice for any enthusiast seeking a genuine high-fidelity AV system. Using proven technology KINOS provides reliable and comprehensive control of a home theatre system whilst maintaining absolute performance integrity for the source products connected.

UNIDISK SC Player - 'a complete AV Source & Control solution'

The UNIDISK SC player is the latest product to feature Linn's adaptive SILVER DISK ENGINE(tm) disc playing technology and has been designed to offer even simpler access to hi-definition music and movie formats such as Super Audio CD and DVD-Audio. It incorporates on-board AV processing and control capabilities, including digital decoding of up to 8 secondary sources and, with both fixed and variable audio outputs, can be connected straight into conventional multi-channel amplification for a powerful, simple, high quality system. UNIDISK SC player is simply a complete pitch-accurate source and control product, making it ideal for use within a secondary home theatre system in a multi-room installation.

ARTIKULAT Loudspeaker System - 'gorgeous'

Combining simply stunning performance with gorgeous looks, the ARTIKULAT system consists of seven distinct, sonically and aesthetically matched loudspeakers which feature proprietary Linn technologies including active servo bass, the 3-K driver array and the new Linn CHAKRA high-efficiency power amplification.
