The Cinema 3 ESP II is based on the tiny Elac 301 aluminium micro-monitor, a remarkable and exceptionally flexible micro-speaker.

Use up to seven with the new SUB 303 ESP II for unobtrusive home cinema, two on their own for almost invisible micro-stereo and two with a sub for extra impact. Based on Elac's costly high end aluminium 3 Series, the 301 uses the same alloy construction and the same Elac advanced driver technology, to deliver smooth, clean and way above-average sound quality.

Each 301 has an ultra-rigid 1.2kg extruded aluminium cabinet and is fitted with a powerful alloy sandwich cone woofer and a wide dispersion ringdome tweeter. Bass goes down to a low 80Hz, giving a smooth crossover to the sub, without the mid 'hole' found on many competitors, a built-in bass filter allows them to be driven directly from the amplifier making installation easy.

The matching SUB 303 ESP II active subwoofer is a very compact design featuring ESP II overdrive protection, a 150 watt amp, flexible crossover and fast clean solid bass to 30Hz.

ESP II BASS STABILISATION. The patented ELAC ESP II is a frequency and power dependent electronic stabilisation programme for controlled bass performance, even in extreme situations. The electronic components ensure that even at maximum power no distortions can be detected. In comparison to conventional active subwoofers, it is almost impossible to overdrive an ELAC ESP subwoofer.
