Loewe Launches its first large format LCD screen in the UK, Spheros 37 HD/DR+ (13/8/2004)

More than just a flat display, Spheros 37 represents the best of Loewe; leading edge technology, stunning design, first class performance, unique upgradeability, simplicity of control and integrated Digital RecordingPlus. All of these elements harmoniously work together to deliver state of the art home cinema, home multimedia and home automation solutions for the discerning customer.

Designed to complement the award-winning Spheros 42HD Plasma and the small format Spheros 20 LCD, Spheros 37 HD/DR+ is the standard by which all other LCDs will be judged.

Total Loewe - 360¼ design

Spheros 37 incorporates the latest generation high-definition LCD panel (1366 x 768 pixels), guaranteeing unique, brilliant picture quality with extremely high detail accuracy.

Class-leading screen images come as standard with the Spheros 37 HD/DR+ thanks to Loewe's numerous image-processing technologies, including Digital Motion Interpolation (DMI), Luminance Transition Improvement (LTI) and Digital Contour Control (DCC). Enhancing the experience further, Spheros 37 HD/DR+ also incorporates an anti-reflective filter glass in front of the panel, to give the viewer the sharpest, clearest pictures with minimum reflections from ambient light - a prerequisite for maintaining high quality for long term TV viewing.

The in-built Digital RecordingPlus hard disc perfectly complements the intuitive operation of the LCD TV. Capable of storing up to 100 hours of material (depending on selected recording quality) at the touch of a button, the HDR also features a time-shifting function to pause and resume live TV broadcasts. From now on, forget the broadcast schedule, it's TV the way you want it.

Spheros 37 HD/DR+ incorporates Loewe's critically acclaimed MediaPlus-HD chassis to offer customers future-ready functionality through upgrades such as Dolby Digital, Online Plus and Wireless Home Lighting Control. In terms of connectivity, Loewe has integrated some of the latest interface standards to maximise image quality and user-friendliness, including Display Data Channel (DDC - for PC connection) and Digital Visual Interface (DVI) as well as a wealth of other connections for audio-visual playback.

Available from authorised Loewe dealers from May 2004, Spheros 37 HD/DR+ comes in a choice of luxurious finishes - Platinum and High Gloss Basalt - as well as numerous placement options including uni-pole floor stand, motorised table top stand, wall mount and Italian-designed cube arrangement for seamless integration into the Loewe Systems range. Fully compatible with the stylish Certos / Concertos audio system, Spheros 37 will be joined later in the year by Spheros 32 HD/DR+.
