The AVR-1705 is Denon's cheapest ever AV receiver but it does not let the side down! Delivering astonishing value, it features the latest 32 bit DSP digital decoding and Six 110 watt amplifiers with high current output devices. Upgraded digital circuits and a new power supply deliver markedly improved sound quality. Nothing comes close at this price.

A new high-performance 32bit DSP is the heart of the 1705 and all surround processing is carried out at 96kHz including Dolby PLIIx and Enhanced DTS Neo:6 (competitors process at 48kHz) The result is more information and better surround fields.

All audio DACs are 24bit/192 kHz for deliver cleaner clearer audio.

Full DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 plus DTS ES / 96/24 and Dolby EX Matrix 6.1.

Enhanced 96kHz DTS Neo:6 & Dolby ProLogic IIx at 96kHz deliver realistic 6.1 channel sound from stereo sources and will also generate a sixth rear channel from 5.1 sources.
