The Chord Company HDMI Silver Plus Cable (2/8/2004)

The Chord Company has added a high-performance HDMI cable ö The Chord HDMI Silver Plus ö to its portfolio of cables. Available in a range of lengths from 1.5 to 15 Metres. Chord HDMI Silver Plus cables are available from Chord stockists now.

In addition, Chord can also supply gold-plated HDMI to DVI-D adaptors to enable their HDMI cables to be used by DVD players, PCs and projectors fitted with DVI sockets.

Developed after much research, The Chord Company HDMI Cable has been designed to maintain performance over the long lengths often needed to connect projectors. Initial tests have shown that even over lengths of up to 15 Metres, Chordās HDMI Silver Plus cable significantly out-performs the other available cables.

Chordās HDMI Silver Plus cable features heavy gauge, silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors and a low loss polyethylene dielectric to minimise losses, especially at higher frequencies. A tough PVC outer jacket and gold-plated contacts, in combination with a unique moulding design, ensure excellent reliability and secure connections.

The cables are supplied with moulded plug covers to allow them to be pulled behind walls, for example, without the plugs becoming contaminated.

The cables are supplied in a neutral shade of grey/white to minimise their visibility.
