Optoma launches the exceptional ThemeScene H77 Home Cinema Projector featuring HD2+ DLP technology from Texas Instruments (23/7/2004)

Optoma today announced the launch of a new world-class projector for the home - the ThemeSceneTM H77 Home Cinema Projector. With an amazing contrast ratio of 3500:1, the near silent H77 (23dB) makes standard definition television look like DVD; DVD appears to be high-definition content and high definition is given a whole new dimension in image quality.

Featuring the astounding HD2+ DLP(tm) chip from Texas Instruments, the H77 achieves both higher brightness and deeper black levels by "filling in" the area where the digital micro-mirror connects to its hinge - the so-called "dimple."
