LG-IBM Selects CyberLink PowerCinema 3 to Ship with MultiNet X900 PCs (21/7/2004)

CyberLink Corp. (5203.TWO), a world leader and pioneer in providing integrated solutions for the Digital Home, announced today the all-in-one software solution PowerCinema 3 will be bundled with Korean-based LG-IBM's MultiNet 900 personal computing systems.

The collaboration agreement between CyberLink and LG-IBM will give MultiNet 900 users easy access to digital home entertainment.

LG-IBM selected PowerCinema 3 for its convenient all-in-one design that integrates digital media and turns today's mainstream computer into an entertainment center.

From its movies, pictures, videos, music and web features, PowerCinema 3 allows users to watch DVDs, create dynamic photo slideshows, view and manage video files, listen to and organize music tracks, and access online help guides via the CyberLink website. PowerCinema 3 comes with a pleasant interface optimized for TV display and allows users to operate the software from a universal remote control unit.

According to Mr. Hong-Gyu Lee, Manager of Product Planning Team of LG-IBM, "CyberLink's PowerCinema 3 is easy-to-use and very entertaining. It is exactly the type of software we are looking for to bundle with our personal computers. Our users will now have an easy way to enjoy digital quality video, photos, and movies on their PCs." LG-IBM is currently demonstrating PowerCinema on its PC systems.
