Moore Innovations launches Moore Medio advanced Home Theatre PC into the UK market (5/7/2004)

Moore Innovations announces availability of it's class leading home theatre PC. "Medio" is designed from the ground up as a high quality media PC, to be teamed with best quality monitors, Plasma and LCD TVs and with high end audio equipment. Designed for quiet running and visual aesthetics it will fit in any discerning home theatre set up.

The Moore Medio home theatre PC has gone on general availability in the UK, with initial sales through the systems retailer KustomPCs.

The system has been designed as an elegant solution. It utilises a heavy duty custom designed aluminium chassis for sound dampening, heat dissipation and good looks, coupled with high end componentry. The PC combines TV Tuner (Digital or Analog) with over 300Gb of SATA disk storage, Pentium 2.8Ghz processor, Radeon 9600XT graphics, 802.11g wireless network, DVD_+RW drive and Terratec Aureon 7.1 audio system.

The system is driven by a custom version of ShowShifter, the leading third party media system providing PVR, LiveShift, Menu, EPG and media management functions.

Unlike other home theatre PCs the Medio is designed to be installed into the most demanding of integrated solutions and custom installations. It is designed to deliver audio at the highest quality through optical SPDIF to AV amplification systems and to power a full range of monitors. Screens can range from projectors, through plasma screens and LCD monitors without issues of picture quality.
