Ovation Multimedia Launches OpticONE; Calibration Device Enables Technicians, Visual Enthusiasts to Achieve Exceptional Colour Display Accuracy (22/6/2004)

Ovation Multimedia today announced the release of OpticONE(TM), a display calibration device based on state of the art technology licensed from Progressive Labs. OpticONE combines software and sensor technology to measure, analyze and calibrate the color of video displays for optimal accuracy. This product is designed for technicians, manufacturers and high-end audio video enthusiasts.

OpticONE includes a probe that detects six to seven samples of light per second, regardless of light level. Its sampling process is 300 percent faster than competitive models. OpticONE's sensitivity to low light levels offers users a higher degree of precision when analyzing the color accuracy. It allows users to accurately assess color, calibrate the display, and automatically update and store reports.

OpticONE is the only color analyzer on the market that can generate automated grayscale pattern reports. It works in conjunction with AVIA Professional (AVIA Pro) to instantly display graphs, eliminating the need for expensive and inefficient hardware or video pattern generators.

OpticONE is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP operating systems and retails for $1,800. OpticONE and AVIA Pro are being offered together for a limited time at the special bundled price of $2,000.
